Successful film shoot caps production, local media spotlights

KITTY, the locally produced and filmed short film by James DiLullo has concluded filming in Batavia, NY. Several local locations were utilized in the short film about a small families turn to bring home the class pet, affectionally named Kitty.
The film stars Cara Fay, Ayva Alexandra, Aurora Callery, and Roselyn Kasmire, as well a cast of cameo players, and a furry feline named Bunny. Susan Aser, of Two Sues Casting served as Casting Director.
Kitty is the work of Batavia born and raised film producer and writer James DiLullo, and represents his directorial debut. Kitty is produced by Beauty View Ranch and Southern Tier Studios, both companies created by DiLullo, a graduate of both Batavia High School and SUNY Brockport. Additional production companies include Avenir Cine and Broken Typewriter Productions.
An important location in the film was shot inside of JK Intermediate School, on Vine Street in Batavia. Amongst the set visitors that day included Howard Owens, of www.TheBatavian.com.
Actress Aurora Callery, who plays Alicia in the film, had this to say about filming inside one of Batavia City School District's most highly-rated buildings, "I had an amazing time! I even got to make new friends, and nobody tried to make me do school work!"
